For leadership teams

When did your leadership team last have a real conversation?

You meet enough. There is an agenda, there are minutes, and still the same decision returns in three weeks. That is not a lack of time, that is a conversation that has not happened yet. We take that conversation out of the meeting room and onto a trail.

Where leadership teams usually get stuck

The strategy holds up on paper, but everyone explains it differently. There is no conflict, there is an unspoken disagreement that slows every meeting down a little. Or the company grows faster than the organisation and nobody dares say the old division of roles no longer works.

Alignment is not a presentation

A team is not aligned because it has seen the slides. It is aligned when everyone can explain the reasoning behind the choice themselves. That is why we let the group make the choice instead of selling it. It takes longer on the day and much less time in the months after.

What an offsite looks like

We start by sharpening the question, not with solutions. Along the way we switch conversation partners, pace and angles. Back at the table, LEGO® Serious Play® makes what was said out there visible, so it becomes decidable instead of vague. We end with choices, owners and dates.

From half a day to five days

In house at your office for one concrete decision. A day in the Flemish Ardennes when the conversation needs room. Three to five days in the Orobie Alps when vision, roles and trust all have to be on the table at once.

When did your leadership team last have a real conversation?

I expected a team building. It turned into the first honest conversation with my team in two years.

Frequently asked questions

Short and concrete.

What if there is tension in the team?
Then that is the subject, not the risk. We facilitate so that nobody has to defend themselves. What we do not do is therapy or a hidden performance review.
How large can the team be?
6 to 16 people, with 7 to 12 as the ideal size. From 13 participants we work with two facilitators.
How is this different from a strategy day with a consultant?
A consultant brings an answer. We bring a method. The answer comes from you, which is exactly why it sticks.
What is on the table at the end of the day?
A shorter list of priorities, the decisions that were made, an owner and a date for every choice, and a sheet of paper you can show on Monday.

So. What do you want to change?

We always start with a thirty-minute call: your question, the right format, the right length. After that you'll know whether this fits.
