Orobie Basecamp isn't an agency that invented an offer. It's where our two methods came together, and where we most like to work.

Why this way, why there.

Why the WALK method

Because sitting still makes you repeat your own arguments. Walking side by side removes the hierarchy of a table, makes eye contact optional and slows the pace. The landscape does the rest: distance gives perspective. We put a structure on top of that, so it stays a method with a landing instead of a walk with questions.

Why the Flemish Ardennes

Because most teams can't free up a week. Here you have rolling terrain an hour from Brussels, Ghent and Antwerp: steep enough to change the conversation, close enough to be home by evening. We walk these sunken lanes ourselves, in every season.

Why the Orobie Alps

Because we have a house here in Spiazzi di Gromo and know the valley the way the people who live here do. No ski resort, no conference hotel, no tourist crowds. Walk three days here and you truly disconnect, while supporting a valley that needs it.

Tycho

Qualified facilitator in the WALK method and LEGO® Serious Play®

Tycho guides organisations through team development, strategy and change, and founded The Missing Brick in Oudenaarde. His approach is no-nonsense: make complex issues visible and discussable, so there is something to decide. Also: fundraising and local action in healthcare, and as many hours on the bike as possible. He prefers to talk next to you rather than across from you, the whole idea of the WALK method in one sentence.

Ludo

Qualified facilitator in the WALK method and LEGO® Serious Play®, host in Spiazzi di Gromo

Ludo came to the Alta Val Seriana for the mountains and stayed for the conversations. He knows the paths, the rifugi and the people in the valley, and grew Orobie Basecamp into a place where teams actually decide. He holds the day together: the route, the pace and the landing. And he knows exactly which climb silences a discussion, and which bend opens it again.

Tycho and Ludo are both qualified facilitators in the WALK method and in LEGO® Serious Play®. Two methods, two facilitators, and no reason to wait until one of us has a free slot.
