The best conversations
happen on the move.

Retreats for teams and entrepreneurs in the Orobie Alps. Three to five days of walking, thinking and deciding — guided by the WALK method and LEGO® Serious Play®.

Why here

Your next breakthrough
won't come from Teams.

The hard conversations keep getting postponed — there's never time, calm or distance for them. A meeting room won't fix that: same chairs, same roles, same answers.

We take the conversation outside. Walking side by side instead of facing off, a day that isn't ruled by the clock, and something tangible at the end.

A WALK hike doesn't end when everybody had a good conversation. It ends when people have new language for what is going on, can see their own part in it, and take at least one concrete choice home.

For teams

A team that picks one direction again.

Three to five days away from the meeting room. We walk, build and decide — with an owner and a date behind every choice.

Room for the question you keep putting off.

For entrepreneurs

Room for the question you keep putting off.

A small group of entrepreneurs from different sectors, one question worth days of walking, and a plan you make yourself.

The method

Four movements, from noise to choice.

Our own WALK method sets the conversation in motion. Back at base, LEGO® Serious Play® makes visible what emerged along the way — and ready to decide on.

W

What is happening?

From judgement to observation

Before anyone explains or solves anything, we slow the question down. One recent example instead of an abstraction. What is fact, what is your interpretation, and what do we keep discussing without anything changing?

A concrete, shared picture of what is really going on.

A

Another perspective

From certainty to curiosity

We loosen the first story. How would the other person describe this? What would a client or a new colleague notice? When does the problem not occur — and which system is quietly rewarding the current behaviour?

More possible explanations, and sight of other people's interests.

L

Learn & let go

From pattern to freedom of choice

Which assumption are you treating as a fact? What do you do that lets the pattern survive? What is this approach costing you — and what do you want to keep, reduce, stop, or hold differently?

Insight into assumptions, your own part, and what no longer helps.

K

Key choice

From insight to visible behaviour

Insight that nobody can see is not a result. What will you do differently, what is the smallest visible step within 72 hours, who needs to be involved, and how will colleagues notice something changed?

A choice, a first step, an owner, and a moment to follow up.

The rhythm

Three to five days, depending on your schedule.

One base in Spiazzi di Gromo. You unpack once, the valleys come to you. Each day has one question, one walk and one harvest.

Only local entrepreneurs

You discover the valley the way locals live it every day.

Every bed, every meal, every guide and every walk comes from someone who lives here. No tour operator in between.

Only local businesses

Every walk, meal, bed, bike and guide we send you to belongs to someone who lives in the Val Seriana. No tour operator in between, no commission chain, no imported experience.

The money stays in the valley

What you spend here pays a rifugio's roof, a trattoria's kitchen and a guide's winter. That is the difference between visiting a region and keeping it alive.

Every tip is somebody's trade

We don't collect Google results. What you read on this site comes from people who walk these paths, cook this food and watch this weather for a living.

Ready to use the mountains
as a thinking space?

We always start with a thirty-minute conversation: your question, the right format, the number of days. Then you'll know if this fits.
