Orobie Basecamp

Offsite in Italy

An offsite in Italy. Further from autopilot.

For leadership teams and founders making time for the bigger picture. Spiazzi di Gromo in the Orobie Alps is our base. Not a conference hotel with a mountain on the brochure. The mountain is right outside.

Three to five days around your question

We combine walks, working sessions and LEGO® Serious Play® where it helps. Strategy, priorities or choosing a shared direction: your question shapes the programme. Orobie Retreat ends with an action plan and a checkpoint after thirty days.

Spiazzi di Gromo, hosted by Ludo

Ludo facilitates the multi-day retreats in Italy. Spiazzi di Gromo in the Alta Val Seriana is his second home. One base, local partners, mountain rifugi and time at the table. We walk four to six hours a day at the group’s pace; no climbing experience required.

Price, accommodation and transport

From €2.450 per person for three days of facilitation. Four or five days are tailored to your needs. You book accommodation, meals and guides directly with our local partners in your own name. Travel and transport are not included. We provide facilitation, not a package holiday.

Frequently asked questions

Short and concrete.

Where in Italy does the offsite take place?
From Spiazzi di Gromo, near Gromo in the Alta Val Seriana, in northern Italy’s Orobie Alps. We stay at one base; this is not a touring holiday.
How many people join an Orobie Retreat?
The usual group is 6 to 12 people. For a smaller existing team, we discuss what works. The starting price covers three days of facilitation.
How is this different from Founders’ Escape?
Orobie Retreat starts with your team or business question, with Ludo hosting in Italy. Founders’ Escape is an open group of 6 to 8 founders from different sectors, three days from €1.950 per person. It is a separate product.

So. What now?

Step 1

A thirty minute conversation

You describe what is not moving. We ask the question more clearly and say honestly whether we are the right party.

Step 2

A proposal that suits you

The right formula, the price, the duration, and what we need from you. No standard quote.

Step 3

A date and a checkpoint

A date that works for your agenda, plus a conversation after thirty days to see if the plan remains alive.
